Perkins and Critser Construction is a growing Commercial General Contractor looking for experienced carpenters wanting to advance into a lead carpenter/foreman role.

Carpenter/Foreman duties and responsibilities:

Working with Superintendents to help maintain and manage jobsites.

Maintaining jobsite safety standards

Ability to run crews and manage tasks

Working with your tea​m and installing cabinets, millwork/trim, blocking/backing, framing, some drywall work, wood structures, installation of FRP/Acrovyn and other misc specialty items.

Carpenter skills and qualifications

An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry

Ability to read blueprints

Creativity and design skills

Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns Joinery or cabinet-making skills

Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Perkins and Critser Construction is a growing Commercial General Contractor looking for experienced construction laborers. Duties included site clean up, demolition, material handling and other misc physical duties to assist the jobsite staff.
Construction Worker duties and responsibilities
Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures for the construction site Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site Performing some misc demolition Operating equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors Loading and unloading building materials Cleaning the construction site by removing materials and debris from the worksite Assisting craft workers such as carpenters or electricians with their duties, if needed
Construction Worker skills and qualifications Basic math skills ti calculations while measuring on job sites and to help the surveying crew Mechanical skills to use the heavy machinery and equipment that is used regularly on construction sites Physical strength when performing heavy labor that is required from construction workers such as lifting materials Physical stamina in order to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather
